Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4 1981) is an American actress. The actress Abigail Spencer was an actress from America. She was born on August 4 in 1981. Amantha Holden, a character from the Sundance channel's drama Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer, an American actor and director of films who also works on television. She gained fame for her performances as a character in Rectify (a drama) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). A native of Gulf Breeze, she began her career in soap opera All My Children. Her role in the soap opera All My Children won her an award from Soap Opera Digest for Best Female newcomer. She mainly appeared in character roles as a guest throughout the span of some time. She was recognized for her role as Dr. Erin Jameson, in the television show Hawthorne. She slowly grew a large following thanks to her gorgeous appearance and amazing acting skills. At the age twenty she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War & Chasing Mavericks were a couple of her films. She earned a nomination in the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her part in the movie Beautiful Now'. The most recent role she has played on TV has been in the leading role of history professor Lucy Preston in the sci-fi television series Timeless. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics about her performance in the sci-fi program Timeless. She was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award.
